i cant open any webpages in bsnl broadband connection. even if have to open yahoo, i have to go through google

i cant open any webpages in bsnl broadband connection. even if have to open yahoo, i have to go through google.com. But some of the pages do not open through google as well. it says i am not connected to internet but messenger works fine. what am i supposed to do?
