Uncle Buck > Do we see the resolution of the boyfriend’s story-arc?

I got pretty far in the movie. I saw the part where the boyfriend was caught by Uncle Buck in a party; he was in bed with another girl, meaning that he was cheating on Buck’s niece.
But I didn’t pay much attention after that. I didn’t notice if there was any resolution to that particular story-arc. does Buck tell his niece what he saw? does she confront her boyfriend?
